SM France Table Tops
SM France Tabletops are made by a special process that produces a seamless, weather resistant, durable table top for both indoor & outdoor use. The process begins by chipping an African hardwood, Okoume, into rice size pieces, which are then dried & infused with resins.
The process renders each rice-sized particle water resistant. These particles are then cold moulded into the table top shape. This blank then goes into a hot moulding press, where the decorative & protective melamine sheets are applied under heat & pressure.
The resulting table top is stable, water & weather resistant, has the surface properties of a laminate, but with an integral substrate, so there is no possibility of de-lamination, separation or warping.
SM France table tops are designed to be used outdoors in high traffic applications and will keep their good looks for many years.
